Principles of Unity We, the Anti-Imperialist Scholars Collective (AISC), are scholars, educators, and knowledge workers engaged in a battle of ideas to support the forces of liberation and justice around the world.

Our Mission Breakthrough News is a nonprofit media and educational organization dedicated to independent, fact-based reporting, and analysis on the issues shaping our world. We are a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the United States.

Journal of International Solidarity is a long-form interview podcast (International Solidarity Podcast) and a Substack blog - both by  Ashwin Shantha -  that treats  imperialism, the Global South, political economy, and people-to-people solidarity  as one connected story.

At an age of bullet points and shouting matches we have dared experimenting with serious analysis to stem the follow of misinformation and indoctrination.

We aim to challenge rising U.S. aggression towards the People’s Republic of China and to equip the U.S. anti-war movement with the tools and analysis to better combat the stoking of a New Cold War conflict with China.
